We learn upon very good authority, that the Government Officials are now investigating several cases of alleged child selling on the part of Natives to Chinese. Fourteen boys of from four to fourteen years of age have been arrested who, we understand, were the sole property of Chinamen by purchase, and rumour has it that several have been sent to China. We shall probably hear more of this matter as the investigation progresses.
